Financial Assistance
Financial Assistance
Camp COLEY believes the benefit of the camp experience is priceless. If for any reason you foresee trouble financing your child's week at camp, please apply for one of our scholarship opportunities below.
Otherwise, please reach out to campcoley@gmail.com and we will look into assisting in anyway that we can.
Thomas A. Pepe Scholarship (due April 1)
Every youth should be given an opportunity to take part in all Scouting adventures. This adventureship program has been established so that Scout families will find these programs within reach. As with all youth programs, it is based on the time honored principle that an individual earns their own way. By far the best way to acquire the necessary resources is for the youth to begin a work and savings program far in advance.
Adventureships will be based on need, and normally will be considered for only a portion of the cost of a single program (i.e., one camp session, one high-adventure trip, etc.) per year.
We will emphasize confidentiality.
Please apply to the Thomas A. Pepe adventureship here.
Karen Kunkel Memorial Scholarship (due May 1)
Karen Kunkel’s love of Camp COLEY began when her daughters and niece attended as growing children. She saw the power of camp and the character development, confidence, and joy it brought to them, and had a firm conviction that every child should experience summer camp. Using her background in marketing and technology, she quickly became instrumental in moving Camp COLEY into the 21st century. Karen worked tirelessly to organize, digitize, and assist Camp in any way she could. Karen worked closely with Patriots Path Council to tactfully market and promote Camp COLEY resulting in a drastic increase of camper registrations. Many of us remember Karen’s love for Chuck the Chicken and always getting the best photographs of special camp memories.
Scholarships are provided based on need and are only meant to cover a portion of camp costs. You will be notified no later than June 1st of your application status. Should you have any questions or require further assistance, please email campcoley@gmail.com with any concerns.
This award is funded through donations and thus may vary in amount year to year.
A parent may complete this application for younger youth.
